On Tuesday, Oct. 5, the Mohawk Girls Swim Team hosted the Fort Dodge Dodgers. The Mohawks outscored the Dodgers, 64-34. Lake Mills’ Kate Edgerton swam the 50 free individual, finishing second with a person best time of 26.86.
The cross country team was able to compete on their home turf at the Rice Lake Golf and Country Club for the first time this season last Monday, Oct. 4. Head Coach Whitney Spies noted that the team was “excited” to run in their home meet.
The Central Springs Invitational was the best meet yet of the 2021 season for the LMHS cross country teams. Every high school team member that participated in the meet ran their best race of the season so far.
