“The Treat Lady Again” The dogs are missing me. My husband, Peter, predicted this after we moved. “All the dogs will miss you!” he said. “They are going to be looking for the Treat Lady. Don’t you think that’s sad?”
With maskless faces in once more crowded shopping centers and grocery stores, travel resuming, pictures of vacations plastered on social media, it’s incredibly, unnervingly easy to forget that we are still in the midst of a pandemic.
Dear Editor, The clock is ticking for 30,000 Iowans.    Just as school is about to begin, thousands of Iowa families who lost their job or income during the pandemic are now facing eviction.
