Worth County Fair 4-H and FFA Livestock Judging
 The Northwood FFA Chapter will host a 4-H and FFA Livestock Judging Contest, Wednesday, June 13, from 2-4 p.m. in the Livestock Show Arena at the Worth County Fairgrounds, Northwood. The contestants will have the opportunity to evaluate two classes of beef, two classes of sheep and two classes of swine.
FFA Chapters and 4-H Members may judge as a team of four with the top three scores counting in the competition. There will also be a division for youth to compete as individuals as well.
All North Iowa and Southern Minnesota 4-H and FFA Members are welcome to participate and are asked to please call Northwood-Kensett FFA Vocational Agriculture Instructor, Marty Cotter at 641-390-1147 to get signed up.

Pee Wee Hog, Pee Wee Lamb and Bucket/Bottle Calf Shows

The Worth County Fair has scheduled three opportunities for up and coming exhibitors in the Worth County Fair swine, cattle and sheep shows.
There will be a Pee Wee Swine Show offered to prospective exhibitors Friday, June 15, around noon at the conclusion of classes being judged and just prior to the championship drives. All young exhibitors will need to be accompanied by an intermediate or older 4-H member or parent as they show their pig. All those wanting to exhibit are asked to check in at the swine announcers stand by 11:30 a.m. to get signed up the day of the show.

There will again be a Bucket/Bottle Calf Show, Saturday, June 16, immediately following the 4-H Beef Show at approximately Noon. Those wanting to participate in the Bucket/Bottle Calf Show can be ready at around noon with their entry near the end of the beef show.
Future sheep exhibitors will again have the opportunity to participate in the Pee Wee Lamb Show, Sunday, June 17, immediately following the goat show and just prior to the 1 p.m. 4-H Sheep Show and can have their lambs ready at ringside at that time.

4-H and FFA Livestock Ribbon Sale
The annual Worth County 4-H and FFA Livestock Ribbon Sale will take place Monday, June 18, at 6:30 p.m., in the Worth County Fair Livestock Show Arena at the Worth County Fairgrounds, Northwood.
The auction will be a ribbon sale only and members will be not selling their livestock.
