Wind Down Wednesday, A Salute to Service

 Albert Lea’s Wind Down Wednesday, Aug. 14, is giving their salute to service members. The August event is honoring veterans, active duty members, firefighters, police, and EMTs for all the hard work they do for our community.
In addition, the event features a number of free kids’ activities, games, baked goods, farmer’s market, local restaurants, boutiques, crafters, artists, music, and more.
Wind Down Wednesday will run from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. downtown Albert Lea, based at 102 W. Clark St., Albert Lea, Minn. It will include great food, shopping, socializing, and games to support the region. Don’t forget to check out your local North Iowa vendors.
