Young netters state bound

The Lake Mills sixth grade boys’ basketball team has qualified for the Pacesetter Iowa State Tournament. The Bulldogs were the runner-up of the Pacesetter North Regional Tournament, which was held in Cedar Falls, Feb. 25. Lake Mills defeated Waterloo Columbus and Fort Dodge to advance to the championship game against Mount Vernon. The state tournament will be held in Des Moines, April 7. The Bulldogs have had a very successful season, winning a total of eight area tournaments throughout the year.
