Lake Mills Volleyball Camp

The Lake Mills Volleyball Coaching staff and high school players will be putting on a middle school volleyball camp August 9, 10, 11 at Lake Mills, from 4-7 p.m. each day.
Participants will learn techniques in serving, passing, setting, & hitting.  The clinic will feature team play, including offense and defense.  The camp is open to any middle school girl.
“We have been doing this camp for a number of years now and it serves as a great springboard for the middle school season,” said Head Coach Jim Boehmer. “We like to get the incoming 6th graders involved to just to give them a look at what the program is all about.”
“The high school players take turns working as coaches for this camp.  It is a great leadership opportunity for them and a chance for them to be positive role models for our younger Bulldogs,’ he added. “It is our goal that our high school players learn as much from this camp as our incoming middle school players do.”
Anyone interested in attending the camp can get a form from Coach Boehmer or from Mrs. Roethler, activities secretary, in the LMCS Central Office.
Players who can only attend one or two days of the camp are still welcome to attend.  Walk-ins are also accepted with a completed registration form.
All fall athletes are reminded that they must have a current physical on file and a completed permission to practice form on file in the central office before they can begin fall practice.  Those forms are available from Mrs. Roethler in the central office.
