Byrnes and Borgmeyer earn All-State nods
Graduated senior, Cede Byrnes, was a third team infield selection. One of the top offensive players on the team, Byrnes was rewarded for compiling a .512 batting average, .655 slugging percentage, and a .568 on-base percentage. To go along with these numbers, she also scored 24 runs, while knocking in 23, including one home run.
In the field, Brynes made her mark, as well, with a .983 fielding percentage and colllecting four assists.
Outfielder, Hailey Borgmeyer, a junior this past season, virtually mirrored the offensive production of Byrnes, and was named to the all-state team as an honorable mention. Borgmeyer had a batting average of .410, and a .477 on-base percentage. The .692 slugging percentage led the team, as did her four home runs. She knocked in 12, while scoring 28 runs.
Playing the outfield, Borgmeyer fielded balls hit in her direction at a .897 clup, while also collecting three assists.
