Bulldogs on All-TIC squad

Following a 14-9 season (9-7 TIC) the Bulldogs placed three players on the All-Conference Team, as Charlie Dugger (first team), Luke Groe (second team), and Trevor Hanna (honorable mention) were named recently.
Dugger, a six-foot senior, led the conference in three-point field goals made, with 49, while averaging 12.6 points per game and shooting 46 percent from the field and 73 percent from the free throw line.
“Charlie finished his career as one of the best three-point shooters in school history,” observed Coach Kyle Menke. “He put in a lot of time shooting in the off-season, and his hard work paid off. Charlie always competed hard on both ends of the court and did a great job of leading our team to another successful season.”
Groe, a 6’2” senior, finished sixth in the conference in scoring (13 points per game) and shot 52 percent from the field (ninth in the TIC) and 78 percent from the free throw line (fourth in the TIC).
“Luke improved a lot from his junior year and was our most versatile offensive player,” lauded Menke. “He could attack the basket well and also knock down the open looks from outside. His overall athleticism was a big factor in our team’s success.”
Hanna, a 5’10” junior, averaged 8.4 points per game in conference play, finished third in the conference in assists and seventh in free throw percentage, at 76 percent.
“Trevor did a nice job of using his quickness to attack the basket and create offense for our team,” noted Menke. He is a very unselfish player who always looks to get his teammates involved. I am looking forward to seeing Trevor increase his role even more next season.”
