Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,
One of the blessings of living in a smaller community is the caring and loving gestures that never end.
What a pleasant surprise to come to work (Forest Plaza Assisted Living) and see a note—an Easter Lily for each employee staff member. And of course, the tenants already received an Easter lily also. What an awesome idea for Steve Peterson and his staff at Three Oaks Greenhouse to reach out and get so many sponsors.
So many caring people out there in Winnebago, Worth County and surrounding towns and states away. Your small gesture made a lot of people smile and feel loved. It’s hard for our tenants as we are the only family they can see close up for now on a daily basis. It is scary and we are doing our best to keep them safe as well as ourselves.
God bless you all. Easter will feel a little more special this time and especially under this COVID-19 time. Stay safe, we will get through this.
