Sanford “Sam” M. Limesand

Sanford “Sam” M. Limesand, 83, Albert Lea, Minn., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019 at his home.
Sam was born July 1, 936 in Lake Mills, the son of Albert and Mabel (Holstad) Limesand. He graduated from Lake Mills High School. He proudly served his country in the Navy from 1955 to 1959.
He married Judy (Rongveld) Solland in 1970. They lived in Albert Lea, where they raised a family.
Sam is survived by siblings: Larry Limesand, Lake Mills; Don Limesand; and Milfred Limesand; sister-in-law, Darlene Limesnd; sons: Michael Solland and his wife, Sheila, Albert Lea, Minn.; Dan Solland and his wife, Deb, Lake Mills; daughters: Sharon (Solland) Colstrup, Albert Lea, Minn.; and Lisa (Solland) Sullivan, Coon rapids; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Sam was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and siblings: Mary Bjork, Ray Limesand, Vernell Limesand, and Elaine Hallstrom.
