Lloyd David Huso

July 6, 1940 – May 21, 2021

Joice’s hometown boy Lloyd David Huso, 80, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 in Wildomar, Calif. David was a devoted Seventh-day Adventist. We wait for that great resurrection day. The celebration of his life will be held at a later time.
David was born July 6, 1940 to Lloyd and Burlette Huso. He married Verah Collingsworth of Wichita Falls, Texas in 1960. Together they had three daughters.
David was a graduate of Oak Park Academy, Neveda. He attended Union College, Lincoln, Neb. He ran a successful insurance agency that allowed he and his family to live in Iowa, Colorado, Montana, Texas and California.
David had many interests. He enjoyed singing in high school and college, he loved sports, playing baseball (like his dad “Sox Huso”) and basketball. He loved the game of golf and played many rounds at the Rice Lake Golf and Country Club. He had a particular interest in ancestry and was, for the family the source for dates, places and people. A highlight for David was a visit to the homeland, Norway in 2018.
Lloyd David Huso was a much beloved father, brother, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his three daughters: Fran Lofton, Lori Skeoch and Cynthia Eldenberg; his siblings: Sharon Penrod, Patricia Hudlow, Steven Huso and Scott Huso; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Verah Collingsworth.
