Leatrice P. Nimmer

Leatrice P. Nimmer 93, departed this life peacefully Friday, Feb. 25, 2022 at the Lake Mills Care Center, Lake Mills. Leatrice will be buried next to family in Mississippi, and no formal services will be held locally.
She was born in Mississippi and moved to Kenosha, Wis., after she married. She worked at and retired from Snap-On Tools in Kenosha and then continued to work for many years at J.C. Penney, after her retirement. She moved to Iowa 18 years ago to be near family.
She is survived by her only son, Rick Gardner (Kathy); four grandchildren: April Casperson (Tim), Heather Solano, Rich Gardner and Daniel Gardner; six great-grandchildren: Audrey Casperson, Chet Casperson, Case Casperson, Jacob Solano, Michael Solano, and Isabella Solano.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirk Nabers and Wannie Nabers.
