Gordon O. Solomonson

Gordon O. Solomonson, 90, Minneapolis, Minn., passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at 10:30  a.m., at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis, Minn., with interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery following reception. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 5, from 5-7 p.m. at Gill Brothers Southwest Chapel, 5801 Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis, Minn., and also one hour prior to service at church.  If so desired, memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, Minn., or St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minn.
Gordon O. Solomonson, was born Dec. 9, 1926 in Leland, to Oscar and Regina (Rosheim) Solomonson. He was a retired pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
He is survived by his children: Stephen (Linda Richardson), Nancy (Mark) Dumke, and Mike (Chris Schneider); grandchildren: Andrew Solomonson, Will Solomonson, Kirsten (John) Worzala Dumke, Karin (Dan) Berdal, Lauren Solomonson, and Emma Solomonson; great-grandchildren, Roman, Berkeley, and Soren Worzala Dumke.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol.
