Dennis M. Stephens

Dennis M. Stephens, 77, Lake Mills, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Lake Mills Care Center. Celebration of Life services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 10, at First Baptist Church, Forest City, with Pastor Eric Weaver officiating. Gathering of friends and family will be held one hour prior the services at the church.
Dennis M. Stephens was born March 4, 1944 in St. Louis, Mo. After graduating high school, Denny continued his education at Central Missouri State.
On Aug. 3, 1989, Dennis was united in marriage to Peggy McCormick Stephens.
Some of Denny’s favorite activities included: hunting, fishing, golfing, and bird watching from his home on the golf course at Rice Lake.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Peggy Stephens, Lake Mills; children: Brian Stephens, San Diego, Calif.; Wayne Stephens, San Diego, Calif.; Jared Stephens, Warrensburg, Mo.; and Ahren Stephens, Washington, D.C.; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Jennifer Sarginson, Lake Mills.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Ralph and Madaline Stephens.
