Saturday, Oct. 19, the Lake Mills FFA students, along with Braydon Lindeman, took the time to create a haunted house at the Winnebago County Fairgrounds. During the Family Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 20, the students were part of the haunted house and gave the community a fright.
Area churches took part in the “Feed My Starving Children” event held Sunday in Osage. More than 39,000 meals were packed by 138 people working for two hours. There were 188 boxes packedwith 36 bagged meals in each box. One bag feeds six and 107 people will be fed for one year.
