BY BONNIE KAY BALDWIN LAKE MILLS GRAPHIC Natalie Kingland, Emma Martinson, and Anna Singelstad, all young women who will be seniors at LMHS this fall, are playing various parts in the Broadway Musical, Newsies.
The Lake Mills boys’ basketball program held its annual summer youth camp for fifth through eigth grade boys, June 24-27. A total of 30 boys participated in the camp, which was led by the Bulldog coaching staff.
Puckerbrush Days, Forest City’s annual community celebration, will be held Friday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21. There will be a number of fun events and activities going on around town.
Gerald M. Olson is the honored veteran for this month. Gerald entered the service June 29, 1963. He went to Great Lakes, Ill., for basic training, then entered into the Naval training center. Later, he was stationed at NAAS Saufley Field.
