Winn. Co. Democratic Precinct Caucuses, Feb. 5

The Winnebago County Democratic Party will be holding their 2018 Precinct Caucuses on Monday evening, Feb. 5. All of the precincts will meet at Waldorf University’s Salveson Hall Ballroom, beginning at 7 p.m. Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m.
There will be three items of business discussed at the caucuses. First, party business will be conducted, including discussing party updates and candidate information. Second, delegates will be elected for the County Convention and members will be elected for county committees. Finally, resolutions will be adopted to be sent to the County Platform Committee. The County Convention will be held in March and the District 4 Convention will be held in April. The State Democratic Convention will be held in June. And, of course, the 2018 election will be held in November.
All Winnebago County Democrats are invited to attend the caucuses and get involved with these first events of the 2018 political season.
If someone would like participate, but is not a registered Democrat, they can register at the caucuses that night.
