Uhlenhopp joins Korthals

Alex Uhlenhopp, O.D., has joined Dr. Korthals and Associates in Lake Mills and Mason City.
Dr. Uhlenhopp grew up in Clear Lake and was a 2010 graduate of Clear Lake High School, where he participated in football, basketball, and baseball during his four years of high school.
Following graduation, he attended the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, where he majored in biology and kep busy in his free time playing intramural sports and spending as much time hunting and fishing as possible. He went on to attend Illinois College of Optometry, Chicago, Ill., where he graduated summa cum laude in May of 2018, while earning his Doctor of Optometry.
Dr. Uhlenhopp has a passion for practicing full-scope optometry and specializes in ocular disease and all forms of contact lenses. He enjoys taking the time to get to know each patient on a personal level and making their eyecare experience as pleasant as possible. Dr. Uhlenhopp officially joined Dr. Korthals and his team in June of 2018, practicing at both the Mason City and Lake Mills locations.
He now resides in his hometown of Clear Lake and outside of work, enjoys watching Minnesota Twins and Viking games, spending time with family and friends, staying active in the community, and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities North Iowa has to offer.
Dr. Uhlenhopp is available for appointments at the Lake Mills location on Thursdays, and at the Mason City location all other weekdays. Stop in to see him for any of your eyecare needs.
