Training put to use in two car crash

The Lake Mills Fire Department was called Thursday to a two-car, head-on accident just south of Emmons, Minn., and used the extrication training to remove driver, Matthew Bjorkland from his vehicle.
Bjorkland suffered multiple internal injuries, along with a broken left femur and broken left arm. He was life-flighted to Mayo Hospital, Rochester, Minn.
