Toys for Tots campaign has begun

The boxes have been placed, and the annual Toys for Tots campaign in Lake Mills has officially kicked off for the 2016 Christmas season.
The program will operate virtually the same as it has for the past few years. Families wishing to receive Toys for Tots, will need to sign up with Joan Krull, at Lake Mills Community School.
Boxes will be in the following locations until mid-December: Larson Manufacturing; Farmers Trust and Savings Bank; Manufacturers Bank and Trust; Salem Lutheran Church; Asbury United Methodist Church; Christianson Interiors; Lake Mills Community School; Emmons Lutheran Church; Word of Faith Dominion Church; Immanuel Lutheran Church; Singelstad Hardware; Winnebago Lutheran Church; Silver Lake Lutheran Church, Lake Mills Motor Sports; Winnebago Cooperative Telephone Association; David’s Superfoods.
Distribution to area families will take place on Dec. 22-23, coordinated through the Salvation Army in Mason City.
In addition to the collection boxes, monetary donations are accepted at a number of local businesses, just look for the Toys for Tots canisters.
As always, the group is in need of unwrapped toys and gifts. Donations by check should be made out to Toys for Tots.
