Speech students bring home 21 Division I ratings

The LMHS speech students attended District Individual Speech Contest, Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Riceville High School, bringing back 21 Division I ratings—Raven Budach, Literary Program; Anna Ramaker, Literary Program & Storytelling; Lydia Saxton, Acting & Solo Musical Theatre; Colby Heagel, Prose; Libby Heagel, Acting & Storytelling; Summer Sterrenberg, Prose; Bianca Singelstad, Poetry; Jareth Cross, Literary Program & Radio News; Sarah Peterson, Storytelling & Poetry; Mason White, Solo Improvisation & Radio News; Aaron Mathahs, Radio News & Prose; Emma Martinson, Solo Musical Theatre; DeAndre Anderson, Public Address; and Sierra Bergo, Acting. Those receiving Division II ratings were: Trace Gau, Public Address & Poetry; and Riley Henderson, Public Address.
The State Individual Speech Contest will be held this Saturday, March 9, at Waldorf University, Forest City.
