Snow Day

While our immediate area did not get quite the amount of snowfall anticipated, we did end up with approximately 4” inches of the white stuff. To make matters worse, that snow came on top of .44” of rain that had fallen overnight and created a number of large ponds (far left).
The wet, and heavy snowfall made up for what it lacked in depth, with the ability to be very easy to pack and make a snowman (top left), and also proved to be rather enjoyable for sledding (bottom left) on a day off school.
While maybe not enjoying the heaviest of the snow, at least the postal carriers looked the part of not letting a little weather interupt their daily rounds (below).
