Overnight storms cause damage

Thunderstorms rolled through the area last week in the overnight hours, causing some area damage. Eric Hagen took a photo of what appears to be a small tornado path through a field by their farm, located southeast of Emmons. The fire department was called to the home of Levine and Cindy Petersen (also located south of Emmons), when a tree fell on their LP tank and knocked it off its foundation, releasing hundreds of pounds of LP.
