Odegaard joins Mercy

Amber Odegaard, tLMHC, has joined the team at Mercy Behavioral Health Services. Odegaard is the primary therapist for the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). IOP is a therapeutic program to prevent psychiatric hospitalization or utilized as a ‘step-down’ from inpatient psychiatric treatment.
Odegaard received her undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, Minn. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University, Twin Cities. She looks forward to providing care to those who live in the community as well as the surrounding area.
Prior to joining Mercy Behavioral Health, Odegaard worked as a Mental Health Practitioner for the Austin Public School District. Odegaard completed her internships with Minnesota State University,Mankato, Minn.; CORE Professional Services, St. Cloud, Minn.; Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn.; and Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center, Rochester, Minn.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog. She enjoys traveling, swimming and attending concerts.
