LMHS Marching Band to compete next two weekends

The LMHS Marching Band will be competing in two upcoming marching band contests with their show titled, “Rising Above.” The show includes music by Randall Standridge called “Phoenix Rising.” This Saturday, Oct. 5, the band will perform at 7:15 p.m. at Algona Band Days. The field competition will take place at the Algona High School Football Field. IHSMA State Marching Contest will take place Saturday, Oct. 12, at Dodger Stadium, Ft. Dodge. The band will compete at 11:10 a.m. All are welcome to cheer on the LMHS Marching Band at either, or both, of these competitions.
