LMFD celebrates Fire Prevention Week

The Lake Mills Fire Department celebrated Fire Prevention Week with an open house last Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the fire hall. Sparky greeted children, Joe Jamtgaard dished out popcorn, and Ethan Schutter filled the goodie bags. The firefighters served hot dogs, shredded beef, chips and a beverage. The public was also welcome to ride in a fire truck and tour the fire hall.
