Freedom Rock Donation

Ron Pitkin (left) plant manager of Lund/Byerly’s in Lake Mills presents a donation of $1,000 to Bill Clark and Leon Christianson toward the acquisition and painting of a Freedom Rock, which will soon be brought in to Arlington Park. Rick Harang (far right) of Lund/Byerlys, looks on. Lake Mills was able to secure the Freedom Rock for Winnebago County (there will be one in each of Iowa’s 99 counties). It is anticipated that the rock will be placed yet this fall in Arlington Park and the artist will begin painting the rock in the spring of next year.
