The final stretch

Work began early last Wednesday on mainline paving on the South Winnebago Street project, and was virtually completed by the end of the day. Approaches to the railroad and intesection with 4th Ave., remain to be completed this week, as does the intersection of S. Winnebago St. and 4th Ave., itself.However, should things progress normally, Public Works Director, Ross Hanson noted that the street and intersection could be open to through traffic Sept. 11.
