Braget new CFO at MBT
MBT Bank (MBT) recently named Craig Braget to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, as well as being named Chief Financial Officer for the banks holding company, MBT Bank Corporation. In his new role, Braget will assume responsibility for managing the financial functions of both companies including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, auditing, tax compliance, and serving on the bank’s senior management team. He will also be directly responsible for the bank’s asset-liability management and investment portfolio.
Braget was most recently employed with RSM US, LLP as a certified public accountant. He spent 12 years working in their Mason City, Iowa and Rochester, Minnesota offices. Prior to that, he spent 11 years working for KPMG, LLP in Des Moines, Iowa providing tax and advisory services. According to Braget, “It’s an honor to be asked to be a part of the excellent management team at MBT Bank.”

Braget is a graduate of Iowa State University and received his Bachelors in Business Administration, and has earned the CPA designation. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Rice Lake Golf and Country Club. Craig and his wife, Pam, reside in Lake Mills and have two grown children and five grandchildren.
