Bear Creek welcome General Manager
Bear Creek Golf Course is pleased to announce the appointment of Terry Keeper as the new Clubhouse Manager. Keeper will officially start his position on March 1. The Clubhouse and course open date will be announced in early spring.
Keeper will be responsible for managing the day-to-day business as it pertains to the operation of the pro shop, restaurant, and bar facility.
Keeper has been a long time member and supporter of the Club. He’s a former Board Member and past president. He and his wife Gina operated the club for a period of time, calling the restaurant the Eagle Nest, in the late 1990s/early 2000s. They also operated an Eagle Nest restaurant in Hanlontown for several years. Keeper retired from Winnebago Industries in 2015.
“Terry’s background is a great fit for Bear Creek and we’re excited to have him onboard,” said John Roisen, chair of the board of directors. “As an avid golfer and long-time member of Bear Creek and the community, he has built strong relationships and has good ideas to take Bear Creek to the next level.”
“I look forward to interacting with the golfers and would like to invite non-golfers to come out to eat and socialize,” said Keeper. “I’m excited to roll out a daytime and evening Clubhouse menu and would also like to continue to promote Bear Creek as a venue to host special events such as baby showers, graduations, business events and receptions.”
Until the Clubhouse opens, Keeper can be contacted to schedule special events at 641-590-4661 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
