All-State High School Vocalist

Emma Martinson, a senior at Lake Mills High School, has attained the highest individual honor available to Iowa high school vocalists by being selected as a member of the 2019 Iowa All-State Chorus. Students selected for membership in this prestigious ensemble represent the top one percent of Iowa high school vocalists.
Emma is the daughter of Louise and Vernon Martinson. She is a member of the Lake Mills High School Chorus and studies under the direction of Linda Saxton.  
The 73rd Iowa All State Festival Concert will take place Saturday, Nov. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hilton Coliseum on the Iowa State University campus. Iowa Public Television will record the concert for re-broadcast at 7 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28. Please see the IPTV website for additional broadcast times. This program is under the auspices of the Iowa High School Music Association and the Iowa Music Educators Association.
