Ghouls’ Night Out, Oct. 19
The third annual Ghouls’ Night Out has been set for Friday, Oct. 19 from 4-10 p.m., downtown Lake Mills. If approved by the DOT, Main Street and Mill Street will be closed to traffic starting at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19, to allow for fencing (required for beverage permit) set up; foot traffic can continue throughout the evening.
Beer and wine may be taken from licensed premises (in non-glass containers or cups) and carried out on the street and between establishments. There will be no cost of admission into the area, so people are free to come and go as they please. Alcohol must stay within the permitted area (fencing). Liquor MUST stay on the selling business’ premises.
Scheduled activities so far:
• Stamp Card—Shoppers will be required to go to a location to get a stamp (no purchase necessary, though they get extra stamps for spending money.) A prize basket will be given away.
• Silent Auction—The July Jubilee Committee will be holding a silent auction to begin fundraising for the 150th Celebration.
