As temperatures soared last week, with “feels like” readings well over 100 degrees Farenheit, those who braved the brutal conditions looked for innovative ways to stay cool. Above, some youths attending the Winnebago County Fair found that an impromptu shower served the purpose well, as they hosed off to have fun, as well as stay cool.
