Easter egg hunt, April 20
Heritage Park and Farmers Coop have joined together for an Easter egg hunt at Heritage Park of North Iowa. Beginning this year, Farmers Coop will be the annual sponsor for this event at Heritage Park. This partnership is sure to bring fun as children from the surrounding communities are encouraged to hunt for candy-filled eggs Saturday, April 20, starting at 11 a.m.
The event is held within the gated grounds of Heritage Park. The hunt is divided into three age groups: three years old and younger, four to six years old and seven to 10 years old (the fifth grade in school).
All children line up in the three large predefined areas. The youngest group starts first, immediately at 11 a.m. with the next age group to follow once first group is finished (approximately 15 minutes later). Candy eggs along with special prize eggs are eagerly and quickly gathered.
In the case of inclement weather, tune into radio station KIOW 107.3 FM for announcement.
