Christmas Lighting Contest

The LMCDC is once again holding the annual Christmas Lighting Contest. Categories are: Faith-based (display with a religious theme); Nostalgic (old-fashioned, classic display with reminds-me-of-my-childhood characteristics); Clark Griswold (excessive, family-friendly display), Inside-Out (indoor display that is visible from the street), Charlie Brown-iest (decorations on a dog house, tool shed, barn, outhouse, anything but your home), and Overall Grand Prize (community favorite regardless of theme).
Participation is open to all residents within the City of Lake Mills. Entry is free.
Entry applications must be received no later than 5 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4. Displays must be up by Noon, Saturday, Dec. 14. Voting will be held Dec. 14-18. Entry forms are available online at www.lakemillsia.org/christmas-lights-contest and will also be printed in next week’s issue of the Lake Mills Graphic.
