Looking for a fun family event? Plan to attend the sixth annual Pumpkin Palooza community event to be held and hosted by the Albert Lea Seed and Garden Center, located at 1414 W. Main St., Albert Lea, Minn. This free event will be held Friday, Oct. 21 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 22, from 8 a.m.-noon.
Plans for the two-day Pumpkin Palooza include kids crafts, pumpkin contest, prizes, freebies, and in-store specials. Pippen, the mystical unicorn (a minature Shetland pony), will be available both days for picture taking and petting. Costumes are welcome.
While at the Albert Lea Garden Center, be sure to check out the selection of mums and pumpkins for purchase and in-store specials for that weekend.
