Friday, September 6, 2019 (All day)The annual Civil War Battle and Encampment will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Sept. 6, 7, and 8, in East Park, Mason City.
Friday is kid’s day with organized tours of the camps, including a field surgical station.
Saturday is the first day of battle with demonstrations in the morning, battle in the afternoon, and ballroom dancing later at night.
Sunday features church service at 10 a.m., with battle in the afternoon before the camp closes.
There will an Abraham Lincoln impersonator, era styled music performances, and vendors selling food.
