“Planning Ahead for Future Care”
Every family will likely face health issues “someday.” By planning ahead, you can be better prepared to ask your health care providers appropriate questions and have the information you need when “someday” arrives.
“Planning Ahead for Future Care,” a two-part workshop from ISU Extension and Outreach of Winnebago County, will be offered Tuesdays, June 11 and 18, from 1–2:30 p.m. at the Heritage Town Center, Buffalo Center. The workshop is free.
The interactive workshops are taught by ISU Professor and ISU Extension State Aging Specialist, Jel Lee, and includes a short video, group discussion, and great information. Light refreshments will be served. Participants will leave with valuable resource materials and information to help them be prepared for unexpected health events, including emergency room visits, and family discussions about health care priorities.
Find registration information on the Winnebago County ISU Extension Facebook page or contact the Extension Office at 641-584-2261 to save your spot in the program.
